    L’Immagine Ritrovata, L’Image Retrouvée and Éclair Classics are attending the Marché du Film Classique at the Festival Lumière in Lyon with a own booth in the exhibition area at MIFC village (October 13th – 16th 2020).

     

    We’ll be also present at Festival Lumière with the following restored title:

     

    A BOUT DE SOUFFLE (Jean-Luc Godard, 1960, 1h29)

    Restored in 4K for Studiocanal and CNC at L'Image Retrouvée (Paris).

     

    THE CHESS GAME OF THE WIND (Mohammad Reza Aslani, 1976, 1h33) 

    Restoration carried out for Cineteca di Bologna at L'Immagine Ritrovata and for World Cinema Project (The Film Foundation). 

     

    LA STRADA (Federico Fellini, 1954, 1h48)

    Restored in 4K for Criterion Collection and The Film Foundation at L'Immagine Ritrovata, funded by Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

     

    ANNI DIFFICILI (Luigi Zampa, 1948, 1h53)

    Restoration carried out for Cineteca di Bologna and Briguglio Films at L'Immagine Ritrovata.

     

    ACCATTONE (Pier Paolo Pasolini, 1961, 1h57)

    Restoration carried out for Cineteca di Bologna and The Film Foundation at L'Immagine Ritrovata, funded by Hobson/Lucas Family Foundation.


    NEIGE (Juliet Berto e Jean-Henri Roger, 1981, 1h30)

    Restored in 4K for JHR Films with support of CNC at L'Immagine Ritrovata (Bologna) and L'Image Retrouvée (Paris).


    LA FEMME ET LE PANTIN (Jacques de Baroncelli, 1928, 1h55) 

    Restored in 4K from original negative, preserved at Foundation Jérome Seydoux-Pathé, at L'Immagine Ritrovata (Bologna) and L'Image Retrouvée (Paris).

    Il Cinema Ritrovato

    From August 25th to 31st, Cineteca di Bologna hosts the 34th edition of Il Cinema Ritrovato film festival, 7 days of screenings and meetings in seven theatres, as well as three open air evening screenings. A selection of the very best restorations realized over the year by public and private institutions will be presented both in 35mm and digital formats during the festival. Among these, several films recently restored at L’Immagine Ritrovata.

    Restoration carried out for Cineteca di Bologna and The Film Foundation, funded by George Lucas Family Foundation.


    XIAO WU (Jia Zhang-Ke, People's Republic of China, 1998)

    February 24 at 13.30 - Akademie der Künste

    Restoration carried out Cineteca di Bologna and The Film Foundation at L'Immagine Ritrovata in collaboration with Jia Zhang-Ke. Project funded by George Lucas Family Foundation.


    DAS WACHSFIGURENKABINETT (Paul Leni, Germany, 1924)

    Restoration carried out for Deutsche Kinemathek and Cineteca di Bologna, funded by the German Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media (BKM).

    Restoration carried out for Arsenal at L'Immagine Ritrovata of Bologna and Paris, in collaboration with cinematographer Francois Catonné.


    The 2020 Berlinale marks the 70th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival and will be also the fist festival headed by director duo Mariette Rissenbeek and Carlo Chatrian.
